Banner Frenzy

Send your soldiers down the road and steal their banners.

Banner Frenzy is a medieval conquest game played on a single screen. Every village, tower and forge flies a banner and holds a garrison. Drag from your buildings to send soldiers down the road, and when more of them arrive than there are defenders, the banner is yours.

Villages raise new troops, towers shoot at anyone passing, and forges make your soldiers hit harder and march faster. Play as the Empire or the Goblins through a 20-battle campaign across the Plains and the Isles, or set up a skirmish against up to three rival kingdoms. Their leaders will tell you exactly what they think of you.

First release

Banner Frenzy version 0.1

The first version of Banner Frenzy, a medieval conquest game on one screen. Send soldiers from your buildings to take villages, towers and forges from three rival kingdoms, across an 8-battle campaign or a quick skirmish.

Additions

  • Added three kinds of building:
    • Village: raises soldiers, grows from one house to a castle
    • Tower: hard to take, shoots soldiers on the road
    • Forge: your soldiers hit harder and march faster
  • Drag from your buildings (or tap one, then a target) to send 25, 50, 75 or 100% of their soldiers.
  • More attackers than defenders flips the banner, and the building drops one level.
  • Soldiers from different armies fight when they meet on the road.
  • Upgrades cost soldiers from inside the building. Any building can switch to another job and start again at level 1.
  • Added three rival kingdoms: red, yellow and purple.
  • Added an 8-battle campaign on The Plains. Winning a battle unlocks the next, and battle 1 has tutorial hints.
  • Added Skirmish: 1 to 3 rivals, easy, normal or hard, on a small, medium or large map.
  • Added a live battle playing behind the main menu.
